About

Kate graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Directing from the Dutch Film Academy in 2023. She is a queer filmmaker, photographer, editor and art department creative.

​Her work is driven by honesty and a fascination with capturing vulnerable, intimate human experiences. ​​

Since graduating Kate has co-written and directed the short film GUILTY with Rosa Stil, which premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival in 2023.

Kate also assisted directors on several projects, including: Katwalk (Salma Chafouk Idrissi), Hobi (Aramis Garcia Gonzalez), Casting Call (Sharif Abd el Mawla), Moustache (Idriss Nabil), ITS ME BELLA HADID (June Yanez), Regen in Augustus (Ashley Röttjers) en Zero to Hero (Idriss Nabil) .

Her upcoming film ‘Touch me, please’ has been funded by ‘Het Nederlands Filmfonds’ and is now in the making (2026).

Outside of film, Kate is passionate about music and channels her creativity through work as a DJ. She is part of the duo UNAUNA KITT working together with MOMANAGER - learn more
